Born in the summer of ‘69, Dimitri started his music industry career in 2002 as head of A&R at Black Hole Recordings in Breda, Netherlands. At that time, Black Hole was Tiësto’s very own record label worldwide. In 2003, after Tiësto set up his own management company and booking agency—Prime Time Management, also established in Breda, Netherlands—Dimitri came on to handle booking and day-to-day management for Tiësto.
The years that followed were a nonstop series of highlights with Tiësto, including: setting up stadium shows in the Netherlands and later internationally; being part of Tiësto’s performance the Olympic Games in Athens 2004; coordinating his first real world tour, Elements of Life; his first Ibiza residency at megaclub Privilege; and much more.
After those roller-coaster years, Dimitri decided in 2008 that he wanted to start something on his own, and Twenty4Seven Management was born. Starting with Dimitri’s close friend Robbie Rivera, the agency soon took on Ferry Corsten, handling his Twice in a Blue Moon shows, Full on Ferry Ibiza residencies, and more. Many other acts and collaborating companies joined over the years.
Nowadays, Twenty4Seven has grown into one of the leading trance agencies in the world, with the fastest-rising star in trance—Egypt’s very own Aly & Fila—as its anchor. The duo recently made world news as the first trance act ever to play in front of the Pyramids of Giza with their Future Sound of Egypt show.
With more than 14 years of proven knowledge and skills in the industry, Dimitri de Wit continues to develop new plans, tours and ideas to keep the trance scene moving forward.
