Chad Moses began working with To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) in 2008 with the hopes that his past battles could bring about a positive change in someone else’s life. His college years at the University of Virginia were spent serving the student body as an RA, yet that was contrasted by his private struggles with depression, substance abuse, and self-injury. Through the help of caring friends, he was able to take steps away from isolation and into a supportive community.
When he’s not finding creative ways to collaborate with musicians, festivals, and entertainment companies, Chad speaks on behalf of TWLOHA at venues, on college campuses, and on the TWLOHA blog. If you’re looking for Chad, you will probably find him trying to pet the nearest dog.
